GGM Ip Man would give his students nicknames, the one on the far R, he used to call Ah Tim (Tim means sweet, and Ah is a term of endearment in Cantonese) They were his students in the 1950's. GGM Ip Man used to joke about always having scratches on his arms after the workout with his women students.
