Does a Wing Chun Kid in 8 years old suitable for Chi Sao practice?
He is Leong Yu Fai, he is a Malaysia Wing Chun practitioner in Seremban class since year 2011. Yu Fai is a intelligent boy, although he has being silent in class most of the time, however, his sense of understanding and flexibility of movement is highly expected. Chi Sao is the most significant close range training system in Wing Chun Martial Art, it's a good time to train a young kid to become better. Bear in mind, martial art is no age limitation!! Do respect everyone, do respect he will become better and better one day.

Wing Chun Chi Sao - Single Sticky Hand Pratice
Before formally begin to Wing Chun Chi Sao and Luk Sao training, single sticky hand exercise should apply. As images provide, it's a routine exercise of (A) Dap Sao against (B) Bong Sao to (A) Fok Sao against (B) Tan Sao. Practice this routine slowly to understand the incoming force, direction and speed of opponent. Besides, elbow points have to keep close to self center line, soften arm muscle and whole body and get wrist sensitivity higher to reflex whatever opponent does.

Wing Chun Chi Sao Tutorial by Sifu Jiason Foong (Wing Chun Malaysia)
Luk Sao is part of the important routine of Chi Sao. It trains your sensitivity, alignment, speed and reaction in term of defensive and offensive movement. There is a circle in the Luk Sao routine, this circle may goes small or even growing bigger as you can see many videos on YouTube. The benefit of small circle Luk Sao will maintain your defensive center line well, shorter distance of line adjustment by handwork and turning by hip to divert the attack line by opponent and straight to attack back.
