The idea is the white line on the ground, it's the guide line.

Punch VS. Tan Sao Tutorial

Punch VS. Tan Sao Tutorial
Although a forward straight punch drill draws lot of force, it been diverted and intercepted by Tan Sao Drill and Turning Stance. In the Wing Chun Principle, NEVER against the incoming force. No matter how well determined of your triangle and center line to attack, if you been intercepted and diverted, it is one of the incoming force also, therefore you have to reposition and ready to defense and attack

Wing Chun Chi Sao Tutorial by Sifu Jiason Foong (Wing Chun Malaysia)

Luk Sao is part of the important routine of Chi Sao. It trains your sensitivity, alignment, speed and reaction in term of defensive and offensive movement. There is a circle in the Luk Sao routine, this circle may goes small or even growing bigger as you can see many videos on YouTube. The benefit of small circle Luk Sao will maintain your defensive center line well, shorter distance of line adjustment by handwork and turning by hip to divert the attack line by opponent and straight to attack back.
