Wing Chun Kids - Elston & Isaac Wong

Wing Chun Take Down Technique

Apply take down technique after right and left elbow strike to opponent.
Wing Chun Take Down Technique,
Close to opponent, make your first step, from right leading leg which the front leg to Huen Ma, and leading leg should go behind to opponent's right leg as positioning as self center of gravity, yet at the same moment, your right hand goes forward to opponent's neck to destroy his own center of gravity, then by applying "Yu Ma", power of waist and stance to turn opponent to left hand side. Opponent will fall in front of you automatically, you can kick his head and body.
Although it's such cruel attitude, but do not think twice if he is a robber who threaten your life

Elbow Strike Technique

Samantha Saw practices Elbow Strike with partner, Steven Choy.
This practice is part of self protection and basic sparring drill. As begin, the opponent attack you by a straight punch, Samantha apply Pak Sao and Elbow Strike Drill at the same time (follow Wing Chun Principle, attack and defense at the same time to achieve the shortest time and biggest impact to defeat opponent) to defeat him.
As image posture is "Bay Zhang" elbow strike and Gum Sao by Samantha, and Steven protected by his Wu Sao.

As mentioned previously how important and function of Forward Stance, Back leg is the center of gravity of the whole body, it draws power from the ground through out and stamp to opponent's leg or body. After kicked, front leg has to back to the ground and move forward and support by back leg. The alignment of kicking to the target have to be accuracy by practicing repeatedly, it just like a nail hitting by a hammer, one strong shot to the point directly.

Wing Chun Forward Stance Training - Samantha Saw

Samantha Saw practices Forward Stance step by step. Front and Back leg have to move smoothly and naturally. Alignment of Chong Sao, body, hip and stance are equally in the Wing Chun Triangle Concept. As i always emphasizes, Back leg is very important to draw the force to move forward and keep you stable. A testimonial have done, a man who is 75kg to lean on her Chong Sao and try to push her away, unfortunately he is not successful. And this method had bring Samantha a big surprise.
