Forwad Stance & Kick - Samantha Saw

Samantha Saw practices Forward Stance and Kick. As mentioned previously how important and function of Forward Stance, Back leg is the center of gravity of the whole body, it draws power from the ground through out and stamp to opponent's leg or body. After kicked, front leg has to back to the ground and move forward and support by back leg. The alignment of kicking to the target have to be accuracy by practicing repeatedly, it just like a nail hitting by a hammer, one strong shot to the point directly.

Samantha Saw practices Forward Stance step by step. Front and Back leg have to move smoothly and naturally. Alignment of Chong Sao, body, hip and stance are equally in the Wing Chun Triangle Concept. As i always emphasizes, Back leg is very important to draw the force to move forward and keep you stable. A testimonial have done, a man who is 75kg to lean on her Chong Sao and try to push her away, unfortunately he is not successful. And this method had bring Samantha a big surprise.

Wing Chun Forward Stance Training

Forward Stance is a stance to keep your own weight stable when ready for battle. Front leg is light and majority weight and center of gravity goes to back leg. As front leg is a leading leg, it may easy to drive you toward to the opponent, go forward, turn to left and right even 180 degree turning. Wing Chun Stance keep a certain close distance in between the opponent and you to defense and attack at the same time. Front leg maintain as light, you may easily raise up your leg toward the opponent as FrontStamping Kick or Side Stamping even move forward to attack or turning stance to divert opponent's attack line and attack at the same time. Wing Chun Stance is applicable for any body size, weight, height and male or female. Practice more how to go forward slowly, experience and feel the Wing Chun Stance how does it keep you stable and power from the ground.
