Wing Chun Kids - Bryan Lum

Pak Sao Technique is most the most common and practical Wing Chun Handwork. No matter your opponent is taller or shorter than you, it always useful to protect yourself.
Besides Tan Sao and Low Palm Strike in right posture, right angel and stance does the biggest matter to enhance individual force to attack opponent and entirely diverted his attack line and destroy center of gravity also.

Elbow Strike Technique

Samantha Saw practices Elbow Strike with partner, Steven Choy.
This practice is part of self protection and basic sparring drill. As begin, the opponent attack you by a straight punch, Samantha apply Pak Sao and Elbow Strike Drill at the same time (follow Wing Chun Principle, attack and defense at the same time to achieve the shortest time and biggest impact to defeat opponent) to defeat him.
As image posture is "Bay Zhang" elbow strike and Gum Sao by Samantha, and Steven protected by his Wu Sao.

Pak Sao VS Thrusting Punch Training

There are many kind of Pak Sao during this practice as students have understand the idea of Wing Chun Triangle Concept yet and the routine of Mun Sao and Wu Sao which helping each other during practice. When Mun Sao turns to Pak Sao, opponent feels the only point of direction is making himself backward and not able to stance a chance to move closer to you.
Practice Pak Sao Technique frequently to achieve the status of "FEEL" when you able to believe yourself to close your eyes.

Pak Sao Training

Pak Sao Training - Pic 1
Jimmy(L) allocate left hand on his chest as Aaron attack spot. Both are in forward stance and punch as attacking each other. When both opponents show as straight punch, both of their fist will never reach opponent's heart of center line.

Due to both opponents straight punch will not make the attack point on each other, Aaron (R) applies Pak Sao on Jimmy's right hand to create a new attack line.
